Would you like a portrait of your dog ?

Conservation 50 in cooperation with Ant Steel, the Artist in Residence at the Cathedral, and Christopher Place Shopping Centre, is proposing a dog portrait project for 'Dog Cut'.

The idea is that dog owners would pay for a portrait of their dog which would be on display on the south wall of 'Dog Cut', a passageway from French Row to Christopher Place, where once the Dog Inn stood.

Owners could choose from four different sizes (costs ranging from £250 to £500) and the portraits would be on public display (from 3 – 6 months, depending on space and demand) and then the portraits would revert back to the owners.

If you are interested in having your dog's portrait painted and put on display, please contact: tjboatswain@gmail.com
